      It's a sensor problem. There are two sensors inside the robot covered with a white silicone cape. Maybe one of them is broken.

    Mine is having mis-leveleing problem each time I reached at least 30% to 40% of printing. The tip of the hot end would suddenly seem to touch the printed part without distance, thus, causing hardening of filament at the tip of hot end blocking the flow of filamet. The extruder gear would tear the filament's edges. It often results in failed printing

    Truly the best video ever for how to setup the extruder, guess what? I am printing without bed leveling now for almost 4 days and the quality is the best yet since 4 years when I bought this 3d printer, Iwas really in pain I hate it until I saw this video and it's now really perfect. Thank you very much for that! 💖💖👍👍 Subscription is necessary!

    is it normal if the hot block looks a little tilted to one side?

    • @SoyYogui
      @SoyYogui 2 роки тому

      I have an Anet A8 plus printer, I bought a replacement extruder, but I noticed that the hot block looks a little slanted and not 100% straight, so I wanted to know if it's ok for that to happen, if that doesn't affect much when it comes to to print.

    Have a question: Is that borosilicate glass? The reason i ask, in the case of 3d printers, borosilicate is the standard due to it's resistance to thermal shock, low thermal expansion, and high heat resistances. Using normal window pane glass, or soda-lime glass, doesn't have these properties, and is much more likely to expand, warp, fracture , or break under the thermal cycling of repeated prints, or at high-temp printing such as that used with ABS and more exotic filaments. Now some tips & Info: 1) You don't need a straight down angle to cut glass with that style of cutter, because it's carbide / tool steel, you just need firm pressure, and ensure the cutting wheel stays in contact with the glass to create the score line. 2) It's always advisable to make 1 clean score, rather than going over a score several times to fix mistakes. Multiple score lines has a higher chance of the fracture following random paths that follow the grain structure of the glass. If an inaccurate score is cleaved, scoring the excess and nibbling can be used to remove that excess, in the case of an under-cut, you'll have to start over. 3) It's usually not advisable to edge break hand-scored glass in the event of an uneven score, or "wavy" score. It's always advisable to rap the opposite side of the score with the tapper at the end of most glass cutting tools, or use glass running pliers. Hope this was helpful to everyone.

    Thanks man! My robot was dirty so I opened and cleaned it. Onece I put I back together it backed up and the red light appeared (obvious error). I thought a sensor was dirty (even after my cleaning) but I also checked the roller as per your recommendation. Thought this part does not disassemble. Good catch! Sometimes the easiest solution is at the most obvious place. Cheers!

    Someone needs to do a proper explanation on this rather than a high level "Here's how and why". What is the actual gap? Does the same gap always apply? Paper is subjective, I measured two sheets of paper, one was 0.18 mm and the other was 0.06 mm. When you are dealing with a .1 mm difference impacting your print, you have to know the optimum height. I assume the nozzle and filament size also impact the required distance. The paper technique is very subjective. We all get grabbing, binding or bending the paper. But the proper amount of slide, slip or drag that is considered good is very subjective.

    *I run the m6 daily, and my floors look awesome🌼 **allabout.wiki/ILIFE-Cleaner** I wet mop 2 days and dry sweep the rest of the days. When I first got it, I used the included disposable pads. I didn't like them--the dry pad has no depth so if it picks up a chunk of something, like dry cat food, then it pushes it around or drags it around the floor. The wet pad wasn't very absorbent so left streaks and wheel marks.*

    Nice review! Thumbs up! I'm interested in buying one but came across this review: lightsandtones.com/blog/2017/6/23/review-vanguard-alta-pro-2-ab100-tripod Basically, the user's complaint is about the centre column locking mechanism... Apparently, even when the colum is strongly tightened, it's not completely stable (the review has 2 gif's that exemplify exactly that). Does yours have the same problem? Is it an issue at all? If there is no wind I guess it should be fine, but in windy conditions, I just don't know... Thank you in advance! Best regards!

    • @JMWConceptsTheOfficial
      @JMWConceptsTheOfficial 3 роки тому

      I hadn't ever noticed that so I went and checked my tripod specifically. I turns out that the reviewer here doesn't have both points tightened. Both of the knobs you can see in their gif need to be tightened, the one to the right of frame is not. If they were both tight, it would lock the column in place. Sorry for the late response. Did you get the Vanguard in the end?

    I have found that wood just looks like brown PLA. It is perfectly good PLA, but there isn't much wood look to it. And I read that you could sand and stain it. No, it isn't at all like sanding and staining real wood. And it won't take stain any better than any plastic. When I print with it, I do so because I want brown PLA. And it stinks up the shop while it is printing. When my spool of wood is done, I'll not replace it.

    • @JMWConceptsTheOfficial
      @JMWConceptsTheOfficial 3 роки тому

      Agreed, you really need to print with a massive layer height to get a wood-grain look. But true, there's no staining plastic. Lol.
